New Feature For Youtube Shorts: Frame Selection, Filters and More!

This week, Youtube is presenting some of its most requested features: Thumbnail customization, even after publishing the content.

Who doesn’t appreciate handy features that make the content more attractive for viewers? Now youtubers can add emojis, description texts, filters and also select the perfect frame for the short video thumbnail. We can see this new thumbnails available in the search page.

Besides these features have been requested for ages by users and creators, Youtube says most users access the shorts from the Shorts feed, which means they won’t see the new thumbnails features from there.

“As a reminder Shorts thumbnails will only show on search hashtag and audio pivot pages and on your channel. We’re exploring bringing additional functionality to shorts thumbnails next year.”
